Are Octopuses Slowing Consumer Adoption of Heat Pumps?
@gunboatdiplomat The T&Cs do say the refund will take up to 20 days. And there’s always the option of a Section 75 claim if there is any difficulty. I’m sure there won’t be.

And if you do experience any issues, I’ll contact Heat Geek on your behalf, but I’m sure it’ll be fine because they do run a very professional operation.

@editor Thanks. They have come across as very professional and I would have every faith in the installer who has quoted to fit a system that performs as stated. I mean, is this surprising? The local installers in my area gave me quotes that were double what Octopus charges. Not 10 or 20% more. They might not "technically" be rogue traders, but consumers are smart enough to recognise a rip-off, especially when it's dressed with eco-friendly credentials. And for the record, the technical parameters seemed really wrong as well (small radiators etc.)
