Which answer is Trumps?
@broadsman - there's a Forum Policy that posts here shouldn't make political comment.
Usually that's straightforward as we usually host topics on technical matters concerning energy/heat.
However, in today's climate of political meddling in energy, and wilful ignorance of the need to comply with the underlying science,
it's getting increasingly difficult to avoid referencing the political jokers in the pack,
which you can see in my previous post.
I actually edited the adjective before the word president, five times before hitting Send.
I needed to avoid attributing particular characteristics which could be seen as 'personal', even though the character was un-named.
You might get your previous post removed by Moderators,
but please don't take that as a condemnation of your sense of humour!
Obviously, the key issue for us to beware of at the moment is posting anything which could adversely affect the forthcoming May elections.
It is the incoming group of County and District Councillors who will be required to interface with the new Regional Energy Strategic Plan organisations.
That's a very serious issue, and I doubt that many candidates even know that inauguration of the RESPs is imminent. 😦
Save energy... recycle electrons!
@transparent A case of the Blind leading the ignorant?
Toodles, heats his home with cold draughts and cooks food with magnets.
BTW, as I understand it, the word ‘trump’ is a slang term for ‘an escape of foul gas’ …. oh! as you were.

@transparent Whoops, I mistakenly put in a capital T, but no apostrophe. I was using the word in the Card game send!!

I woke up with Buffer Tanks on my mind last night along with an old reggae musician (sadly now departed). So in my sleep this thought had hit my funnybone:
Q. What is the link between Jonny Nash and a buffer tank?
A. There are more questions than answers… 🎶
I know, I need another hobby!
In a similar vein, this recent spell of sustained good solar PV conditions and its knock-on effect on our EV's running costs had me mentally rewriting that famous 80's hit by Katrina and the Waves - "I'm driving on sunshine".
105 m2 bungalow in South East England
Mitsubishi Ecodan 8.5 kW air source heat pump
18 x 360W solar panels
1 x 6 kW GroWatt battery and SPH5000 inverter
1 x Myenergi Zappi
1 x VW ID3
Raised beds for home-grown veg and chickens for eggs
"Semper in excretia; sumus solum profundum variat"
So, what's to do?
It's the end of May, and I want to make elderflower champagne,
but the flowers are covered in black aphids
Go ahead.
The kids won't know...
I'll just label it 'Full bodied'.
Save energy... recycle electrons!
