@editor Never mind about the noise from that heat pump, do those birds not need planning permission? Very Antisocial of them!!!

The path to Net Zero needs to be planned.

It's not enough to merely issue policy statements promoting on-shore wind-farms to be spread across the countryside...
... it's the execution which matters.

From my perspective @toodles - this is the currant problem:

Currant

The spring sunshine is ripening the fruit early...
... but it's less than half the size it should be.

The berries have failed to swell due to lack of rain.

Apocalypse Then

So, yesterday evening I was watching BBC1 "Walking with Dinosaurs".
The 'experts' reckon their senses of smell and sight were well advanced.

Personally, I think they were deaf.
Their hearing had yet to evolve.

The production team flew the camera drone right above their heads, and no one of them looked up!

…or next to Westminster and just recycle all the hot air generated.
