@papahuhu Unfortunately yes, due to how the houses are staggered and the crescent layout, next door neighbour's big trees start to shade our panels. Until the middle of September, due to the position of the sun, this doesn't affect the generation.

We have the same problem, 12 mature trees clip the morning sun for our entire east facing aspect. Until noon our generation is 50% of theoretical. I can’t bring myself to cut them down, they were there long before I was and some belong to the national park. If I ever move I’m looking for a small stream and enough slope and will install hydro, easy to get 2kW 24/7, 365, true off-grid and low cost install.
