Ecdon Third party Thermostat Issues
- @derek-m yeah its since the cooler weather has arrived, the controller is located in airing cupboard upstairs. The door is closed and there is no radiator in the cupboard.
Posted by: @derek-mPosted by: @adam_colwellIf the thermostat have been wired incorrectly, is a hard job to fix?
It is quite some time since I explored the delights of the Ecodan manual, but I think that Kev is correct that there may be DIP switch settings that need to be made or that equipment may need to be enabled. I would suggest that you have a look through the 'installer settings' to see if any changes need to be made.
@Derek-m, if you look at the dip switch settings in 5.4 of the FTC6 manual, it says how to set the logic for the 3rd party thermostats. If these were set wrong it could possibly cause issues like @adam_colwell is having. Another thing to look for is a 3 way valve stuck or not set up properly.
