Daikin Altherma boiler control unit

  1. I have a 13 year old Daikin Altherma ASHP boiler with the original system controller, part number

ARC448A3

it does not have battery backup so when the power fails in my house I have to reset the clock. 

Can this system controller be swapped with a more modern unit, that has battery back up for the clock and heating schedule, and possibly even remote control?
