We are aware of an issue that when you receive a new notification email and you click on the link it takes you to the first page of the topic, not to your last read post. We are communicating with the developer to see why this is happening and are working on a solution. Being the weekend, there probably won't be any feedback from them, so please bear with us.

I'm not sure if its me and I'm going mad, but the "preview" button at the bottom of the compose box seems to have disappeared since the move to the new server?

I'd disabled that feature when I was troubleshooting performance issues and wasn't sure whether anyone was using the preview, so I disabled it. Since you're using it, it's now been enabled and back .

Ah yes. Apologies @toodles
I've been collecting all the links here while I fashion them into a a suit of chain-mail. 😎

And just one more thing please Mars, please could you re-instate the text size option in the reply pane as at the moment, there is only the (to me at least) very small text size only; when I enlarge the image to read what I have ‘wroted’ I then need to scan the lines across the screen two or three times for each line. Regards, Awkward Sod Toodles.

@toodles, unfortunately, due to recent updates to our forum's underlying content management system, we're currently facing limitations in customising certain user interface elements, including the text size adjustment feature in the reply pane. These updates, aimed at enhancing overall security and performance, have restricted our ability to modify or reintroduce certain features without potentially compromising the stability and security of the entire platform.
While we work on resolving the text size adjustment feature in our forum's reply pane, I have a suggestion that might help you manage the small text size issue on your iPad. iPads have built-in accessibility features that can be used to enlarge text across applications. Here’s how you can use these features:
-
Zoom Functionality:
- Go to your iPad’s Settings, then select Accessibility.
- Choose Zoom and toggle it on.
- With Zoom enabled, you can use three fingers to double-tap the screen, which zooms into the area. You can then drag with three fingers to move around the screen. Double-tap with three fingers again to return to the normal view.
-
Larger Text Option:
- In the Settings under Accessibility, you can also find the 'Larger Text' option.
- Enable 'Larger Accessibility Sizes' for more range.
- Then, adjust the slider until you find a text size that's comfortable for you.
-
Safari Reader Mode:
- If you are accessing the forum through Safari, you can use the Reader Mode for a more comfortable reading experience.
- When on the forum page, tap the 'AA' icon on the left side of the Safari address bar and select 'Show Reader Mode'.
- In Reader Mode, you can tap the 'AA' icon again to adjust the text size specifically for that page.
