Posted by: @scalextrix@judith we had a thermostat fitted for the kitchen as there is a lot of solar gain, and it seems to have stopped that function.
I'm not really bothered though.
If the thermostat is connected to the cool for heat terminal on the vaillant or myson then I suspect it's also a call for cool (IE an 'enable'). If you turn it to max it will probably override.
4kW peak of solar PV since 2011; EV and a 1930s house which has been partially renovated to improve its efficiency. 7kW Vaillant heat pump.
