[Sticky] Air source heat pump roll call – what heat pump brand and model do you have?
@tworivers not heard of Domusa before so looking forward to hearing about your system. One more thing to do. Please rate your installation here: https://renewableheatinghub.co.uk/forums/renewable-heating-air-source-heap-pumps-ashps/rate-the-quality-of-your-heat-pump-design-and-installation#post-26815

@tworivers maybe the real hiccup with your less-than-ideal installation was your installer playing charades with the Spanish manual 😀

I thought that it would be Manuel?
@tworivers pop it into Air Source Heat Pumps. Curious to read about it.

And please write it such that it could be understood in future by others who may be intelligent, but not technically literate
- Trading Standards
- your Local Authority Building Control staff
- your MP
- civil servants at Dept of Energy (DESNZ)
If you're going to use an abbreviation, then please explain what it means on the first occasion.
And use a photo whenever you have a relevant one to post here.
Thanks.
... and looking forward to Chapter-1 😉
Save energy... recycle electrons!
@kena welcome to the forums. I’ve added your heat pump to the roll call. I suspect you have the oldest heat pump here now. Love the photo. Thanks for sharing.

FWIW my 16kw Daikin split LT was installed in 2009! It was the Wild West back then… the installer went just before we even moved in…
Built house with 16kw gen-1 Daikin heat pump in 2008. Installed replacement 3rd-gen 9kw Daikin heat pump 2025. 5.6kw solar. Heat recovery and ventilation. UFH. Massive insulation.
To help bolster the rather small number of NIBE owners on here, my ASHP is a F2040-12.
I have this hooked up with the OpenEnergyMonitoring kit - link here for more details and live data: https://heatpumpmonitor.org/system/view?id=61. There's not a lot to see happening right now as it's only running the occasional hot water cycle [if eddi doesn't get there first!] but the historic data as far back as September 2023 is there to see/compare against.
