Finding a qualified assessor in the North West
Hi all. I have searched the forums, but unable to find a topic that addresses finding a certified assessor that can survey our house and give us the god-honest-truth of what we need to do to make sure installing an ASHP is of value. I am happy to pay someone to give us a report on all the technical issues we face with our dwelling built over 400 years ago. I would like someone that is independent because I generally don't trust installers to give us honest advice. I have had a couple of installers come to say 'Yep, we can install you ASHP next week, your house is ready and you need to make sure you get the grant before it runs out'. Can anyone give me a clue where to begin to look for such a person??
Thanks all!
