@mike-h I have two small tanks above the uvc but I'm assuming they aren't buffer tanks? I have a cold water header tank in the loft and the system out...

Outside unit heat pump fans run for around 5 mins then it's quiet until 8 mins and 20 seconds then it starts again.

But at the beginning of the 8 min cycle they are both within 0.5 degree of each other at 22

Just checked flow and return temps on rad closest to UVC and it's 25.2 -22.6

@derek-m I'm just doing the monitoring now. Where would I find the LWT? I'm assuming that's leaving water temp? I have my thermometer now
