As the site continues to grow and attract new users, we’ve had to ramp up security to protect the site and its users. As a result, we’ve implemented some new security features, especially around user passwords. We are also now aligned with third parties that will inform you if your passwords have been compromised elsewhere on other sites as part of data leaks to protect your account here, and you will not be able use that password on this site.

We are pleased to announce the introduction of an improved user tagging feature on the forums. This feature streamlines the process of mentioning other members within our platform. Now, by simply typing the "@" symbol, a pop-up window will appear, providing an auto-complete list of user names for easy reference. You can navigate through this list with the keyboard's up and down arrows and select the desired user by pressing enter. When mentioned, users will be promptly notified via email about the topic or reply in which their name appears. This feature is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance user experience and facilitate smoother communication on our site.

getting wordpress / site not responding errors quite often - every few days. Too many users, site overloaded?

@iancalderbank, I have seen and experienced that too. I'll be flagging this with the hosts, and may have to shift as the site is now growing very rapidly with a lot more traffic than we've ever had.

How many views per month is the Forum receiving?

Can we tell what proportion of these are from non-members?

That's good news about non-member traffic.

I've been inserting links to posts here on the RHH Forum when I write feedback to Government Depts, National Grid, Ofgem, local Councillors, Planning Applications etc.
I want others to be seeing this site as a useful resource, whether or not they personally become members.
