Mitsubishi Ecodan Produced energy showing 'INVALID'
I own a Mitsubishi Ecodan 14kW and the display shows ‘INVALID’ when selecting Delivered Energy in F4 menu. It runs ok, there are no errors displayed in logs and it records Consumed Energy. I remember that in the past the section showed some calculated values and COP(?). . I have all the sensors, including external boiler (that did never needed to start).
Can anyone advise where to look ?
DIP switch setting for external Heat meter is default OFF: SW3-8 (printscreen from manual below
Below the "problem" pictures. Please see the right column, the second icon with battery in my case just shows "-"
Thank you in advance for any suggestion.
Call MItsi Tech and they will walk you all the way through it. 01618666089
You need heating option from what I remember.

Thank you! I do not have any contract with them and maybe they have some paid work to do. If we do not find any solution - thank you for the phone number.
The Mitsubishi Ecodan HP has both heating and cooling options enabled (Internal unit Hidrobox ERSC-VM2D is able to do that). I can try this scenario: disable the cooling option, leaving Heating only from the DIP switches, but it needs a complete shutdown. Did you encounter something similar?
@sorin I don't know if having the cooling enabled would invalidate the energy delivered, I would have thought that would read regardless of the function as all aspects of the system running uses energy. It is likely that most engineer's will not know whats caused this and they would just call Mitsi tech to ask anyway.
The tech support is free and just advice over the phone, if you call them and ask they may be able to point you in the correct direction, if it is corrupted software and under warranty they will send out one of their engineers most likely with no charge. I would say your next move is to call them or get your installation company to attend and they call them to run through the repair.
Professional installer.
Hello! I tried your idea and disabled the cooling function of the HP. It is now set up on heating only. The error persists. Of course when I will find out the solution, maybe from Mitsi tech, I will post it here.
I will wait a few more days maybe we can solve it in this community. It is not a emergency, this is not working for months and not impacting my wife's well being
