I've ordered dongle so thought I'd do a reccky before it comes 😀
Photos of my indoor unit, it has 2 screw holes at bottom (fitter probably to tight to buy screws 🤪 as well as no flow meter ) then front lifts off.
I followed exiting wifi wire to CN105 port.
I think (hope) unplug this plug in new dongle then plug existing WiFi dongle into EXT slot
I'll probably just turn off on unit, not big red switch.
Like blind leading blind 😳
I'm very excited for it to arrive.
@sand You are spot on,
The reason for isolation at the breaker is that this side marked in Red is at mains 230V and a bit too close for comfort with the CN105 Plug located at the White arrow - please take care with your fingers!
There is a magnet supplied at the top of the adapter so you can stick it to the metal case, or pop it out to reveal a screw hole if you have somewhere suitable to mount.
@sand I have 'location envy' for your white box compared to mine.
The electrician mentioned that he'd had to put it somewhere out of the way within the cupboard space, but he put the touchscreen display in a reachable place.
He said that there'd be no need for me to access the big box, which was a fairly safe conclusion at the time. Little did he know I'd find a reason, somehow!

@sheriff-fatman That's the right case, yes.
Note that this isn't the "hydrobox" design for Split rather than Monobloc units, which looks like these:
@sheriff-fatman 😀 I see what you mean. With mine it does lift off upwards if that makes sense.
When our electrician saw all wires he was horrified, he's 70 he had to tidy up mannifold wires because they offended him that much. I don't think our install was the best.
Good luck.
@sand Good to know that it lifts off, rather than swings as a hinge, as I wasn't sure it would have the clearance. I do have the same screwholes as yours, but I managed to erase one of them from the pic when erasing the label that had the serial number and QR code clearly visible in the picture (overkill perhaps, but it taught me where the option to edit was on my phone, at least!)
I suspect I'll now be ordering one without much more delay, so thanks to you and @f1p for clarifying things for me. I ordered a Home Assistant Green box yesterday, so I'll likely get that set up first and then go for the version of the dongle that allows it to be auto-detected. My geeky spidey-senses are tingling already at the prospect of more data to analyse!

@sheriff-fatman 🤭 ill be interested in your thoughts on Home Assistant Green box
I'm trying to convince myself I need one.
Going to try melpump app first.

I'll post something to advise my thoughts in due course (and I always have @benson to blame for awakening this monster within me, so if it's negative feedback then he's the scapegoat!) The potential for what it can be used for, in terms of wider home automation, is a potential black hole I may end up falling into, but my immediate interest is simply on bringing all the energy monitoring data from various sources into one place. If I can get somewhere with that to begin with, then that's the 'purchase goal' achieved.
Also, I'm just checking that you're aware that you can start looking at MelPump data already, prior to receipt of the dongle? You just need to create an account on there to start getting the data feeds that MelCloud provides and provide it with login credentials for MelCloud (which can be done as a guest access account). It might actually be useful for you to do so, as you'll see the 'before and after' versions of data with and without the dongle. Just having MelCloud data in a more useable form provides a lot of insight, based on my use of it over the last few days.

@sheriff-fatman yeah I looked yesterday, didn't want to set it up without dongle but, I'll look again. See what data it gives me.
@f1p Thanks for the guidance offered and may I ask one further question? If the Melcloud wireless connector is removed from CN 105, to fit the adapter and then it is plugged back in again to the port on the adapter, do you have to go through the Melcloud connecting procedure or does it reconnect automatically to MelCloud?
I seem to recall a few problems last time I had to reconnect.

It should reconnect, the situation you describe would be comparable to the likes of a unplanned power outage.
It's not unheard of that after events like this to have issues like you describe and it can be a little slow to appear within the MELCloud App (Although the adapter LED's show a healthy state)
@f1p I think I recall that the Mitsu procedure suggested that a router with a WPS button was required and think my secondary router did not have one. However, I must have found a way around it.
