Fast DHW setting on Midea (Clivet) heat pump
Hello everyone,
We have a Clivet ASHP and smarthome app. Not sure if anyone else uses this function but on rare occasions we need a DHW boost- if we have visitors for example and 6 people are showering in quick succession, or we are all showering unusually late after the final daily reheat schedule . The smarthome app has a fast DHW option. That said, does anyone happen to know if it has customisable settings? I have read through the manual and am struggling a bit to find anything.
The issue being, it seems a bit unnecessarily extreme- whilst appreciating the objective of it is to heat the tank as quickly as possible it costs us a fair few KWs. I've attached a graph to show what I mean. Outlet flow temps are usually 55 to heat our tank to our usual set temp of 48. Using DWH boost pushes this to 65 (guessing it must use the backup heater?) and heated the tank up to 56.
Thanks
@simon-w, is this something you could potentially assist with?
