Just received a video on a DIY heat pump behind a PV solar panel:
What do you think about this?
Watching the video brought back memories of when I could work that fast!!!
It is another good example of innovative ideas being put into practice, though I would suspect not possible for most people in the UK because of siting constraints.
It is similar to an idea I have been developing to improve the efficiency of ASHP's, particularly during nighttime, utilising solar thermal panels rather than solar PV.
Whilst not the same manufacture, the A2A ASHP is very similar to the one I installed.
