City of York Home Upgrade Grant
The city of York is offering grant-funded improvements for low income households through our Home Upgrade Grant (HUG).
The following types of energy efficiency measures are available:
- loft insulation and draft proofing
- cavity wall insulation
- attic room insulation
- PV solar panels
- air source heat pumps (available for homes which are not connected to gas or which don’t have central heating)
