First time wall mounting an ASHP
Hi all,
I have got the go ahead on a job to move their 5kW Samsung R32 from the floor, up onto a wall. I was planning to use these brackets (Pump House Type CBR2-L 2 Wall Bracket 540mm Long Arm 140Kg For Air Source Heat Pump), but as I mentioned I haven't done so before. Is there anything I should look out for, and what difference would this make on efficiency compared to your standard floor mount?
Thank you in advance
Im no expert, but if you are raising the heat pump, the air should be warmer than down on the ground and so it should improve its efficiency slightly.

@bontwoody Adam Chapman Heat Geek carried out an interesting experiment using mirrors (no smoke) to reflect sunlight back at the pump. Can’t remember which but it is a YouTube presentation of his. Regards, Toodles.
Toodles, heats his home with cold draughts and cooks food with magnets.
@toodles Ill have to look that one up 😁

what you need to do is everything you can to remove the vibration through the wall, these brackets are very good and allow you to adjust a rear foot to level the bracket tilt, I would add some aditional 100Kgs antivibe mounts as well, these can come with an 8mm M/M thread each side and would sit straight inside.Posted by: @renewables345Hi all,
