End of Summer Time Reminder to Ecodan owners

Public Service Announcement to all Ecodan owners:  don't forget to turn off Summer Time in the Initial Settings menu - the software isn't clever enough to self adjust, unfortunately...

Mitsubishi Zubadan 14kW with Mixergy 210l DHW in 220m2 barn property. 24 solar panels = 9kWp with GivEnergy 5.0kW Hybrid inverter and 19kWh GivE batteries. Jaga Strada fan-assisted rads throughout. Landvac vacuum glazing/triple glazed windows.

@downfield I have never been aware of that one. Every day is a school day. Now, where to find that setting? 🤔 

 


Retrofitted 11.2kw Mitsubishi Ecodan to new radiators commissioned November 2021.
14 x 500w Monocrystalline solar panels.

It's the one before the Service Menu.

I only realised a few weeks ago that my system has been on Winter time most of the summer!

@downfield I found the setting and 'Summer Time' was turned OFF.

@downfield, wow that's crazy that it needs a manual change.

Having said that, we have a snazzy robovac at home, and if you change the time to BST and enable "daylight savings" it knocks our schedule out by eight hours. Something that is potentially quite simple, yet apparently isn't.
