As I understand it....ha....Melcoud will over ride any timer or schedule settings but not any primary settings such as temperature preference. As a long time Melcoud user that is what I have observed and I am sure that I have read it in the documentation - if only I could find it again!  With regard to the GMT change, Melcloud changed as normal and the FTC5 was at the correct temperature too when I checked.
