Daikin 8kw Monobloc not switching off when room thermostat exceeds set point
We get huge amounts of solar gain.
I had the Maduka room thermostat installed in the sunniest room to act as a limiter if we start to overheat.
We are running on WC and have set the thermostat to 22c. So if we go above 23.5c I'd expect the HP to shutdown.
On low solar gain days the house ticks along 24/7 around 21c constant. Perfect.
Today we have hit 26.5c on the thermostat, the whole house is very toasty and I expected the HP to shut down, but it hasn't.
What settings might need changing so the thermostat does it's job?
Thanks.
