Is it possible to get cooling with a heat pump on a standard install?
 
I wanted an A2W heat pump but then read this from the guy that runs this forum:
 
"Cold water in the same radiator can't drive that process in reverse. You get a cold surface and almost no meaningful airflow, just a mild radiant effect if you're standing close. Cooling with standard radiators is pretty pointless."
 
Then there's the condensation issue and this is where it gets dangerous. For cooling to work, the water needs to be colder than the air in the room. But drop it below the dew point (which in a typical UK summer sits around 18-20C) and moisture in the indoor air starts condensing on every cold surface it touches."
 
I was looking at a Vaillant Arotherm Plus 5kW because it supposedly does cooling but does it really?
 
I can't afford to install an A2W as well as an A2A heat pump, never mind the practicalities of placement. Is it possible to get both cooling and heating on a standard install?
 
If a heat pump is used in cooling mode during a heatwave just to get it down to a reasonable temperature such as 23 degrees, would this ensure there is no condensation as its noted above that the dew point is roughly 18-20C?
