Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with ASHP installers around Lancashire? The guy who did my FIL’s 2.5 years ago was very good but I’ve realised he’s not MCS registered so the installation would be ineligible for the BUS grant. Octopus are in my area in a month or two but I’d like at least a second quote and since attention to detail in the installation and commissioning is so key, I’d like to try and minimise the risk of a bad experience.

Thanks! They may not travel out to me but it doesn’t hurt to ask! I’m impressed with some of the results there considering the house is fairly average insulation-wise.
