RE: Load Shift and Lifestyle Shift Complete - our journey has ended, for now

By AllyFish, 3 days ago

@tim441 very good question, and the reason is our limited BESS capacity of 13kW, which would not power the ASHP in the heating season during the day. A night-time tariff for EVs doesn't power our ASHP...
RE: Say hello and introduce yourself

By Will H, 3 days ago

@singlespeed The Haier is a great unit - we've been very impressed with its performance. With the Passiv Smart Thermostat, you won't need to worry about the heat pump controller - there's a couple of ...
Majordennisbloodnok RE: Daikin ESPAltherma and Home Assistant installation

By Majordennisbloodnok, 3 days ago

Thanks, @f1p. @bash, my instinct would have been to go with the ESP device recommendations of Raomin since that's what he or she wrote the code for, and the extra energy consumption of the screen is s...

Transparent RE: Surge Protection Devices

By Transparent, 4 days ago

RE: Configuring third party dongle for Ecodan local control

By F1p, 4 days ago

A few notable developments: I'm working through adding Air-to-Air support into my existing adapters, therefore one device will be compatible with all Mitsi's offerings. The device will detect the unit...
RE: Vehicle-to-Home with a Heat Pump: Is the Technology Ready and Which EV Should I Buy?

By Judith, 4 days ago

Vehicle to Grid is the further step and here is the IEA’s prediction on this (They are historically predicting on the slower side of what actually happened on things like solar generation)
JamesPa RE: Surge Protection Devices

By JamesPa, 4 days ago

I am not missing that, I assure you! I am trying (and failing) to find in Vailant's documentation, the underpinning for your statement:   I reiterate that, whilst I agree with your final sentenc...
