Batpred RE: Surge Protection Devices

By Batpred, 3 days ago

Vito Energy has information on their website about this Hager/Vaillant collaboration. Hager still shows some info in their website. Could it be that Vito's arguably excessive focus on these perceived...

Most ESP devices are wifi, so my preference is hardly mainstream. Wifi should be fine, albeit you may find the odd dropout every now and then; it's weaker wifi signals that start to give a bigger prob...

@singlespeed The Haier is a great unit - we've been very impressed with its performance. With the Passiv Smart Thermostat, you won't need to worry about the heat pump controller - there's a couple of ...
Majordennisbloodnok RE: Daikin ESPAltherma and Home Assistant installation

By Majordennisbloodnok, 3 days ago

Thanks, @f1p. @bash, my instinct would have been to go with the ESP device recommendations of Raomin since that's what he or she wrote the code for, and the extra energy consumption of the screen is s...

congratulations! my only question is why you've stayed with Cosy instead of Intelligent Go? With your battery and a bit more tweaking you may find IG cost effective. We have ashp ... and battery. We ...

By AllyFish, 3 days ago

Four years ago my wife and I embarked upon our decarbonisation journey. My daughter, then aged 4.5yrs, had subtly changed our mindset about the cost vs return on investment of renewable heating & ...
