Batpred RE: Electricity price predictions

By Batpred, 3 days ago

I can see your point but being an area I am fairly familiar with, it seemed worth adding to the discussion.. My concern is it may be oversimplified and so does not justify why more data centres are p...

@jeff Are you somehow connected to ofgem. If so you are very welcome (which doesn't mean you aren't welcome if you aren't connected to often). If you are connected to ofgem then many thanks for expl...

By Painter26, 4 days ago

To be honest I'm not concerned for myself but as I've got family staying at the moment I wanted to be a bit more diligent at keeping a slightly more regular 55 temp. When you say pushing it to its lim...

Ah ok. There's obviously different schools of thought with respect to the benefits of disinfect cycles but guess you have probably done your own research on that. Parameters on the wired controller. ...

@painter26 welcome to the forum. However, I don't really get what you are trying to do with your DHW- why are you trying to heat the cylinder so high? A set point of 48, or certainly 50, would suffice...

@mk4 We have 8.1 kWp. but less than ideally orientated with some degree of shading at times. As to the rain, well …. we seem to have had our fair share lately! (SE England) Regards,Toodles.
MK4 RE: Solar Power Output – Let’s Compare Generation Figures

By MK4, 4 days ago

@toodles OK, sorry I didn’t get it…. we have almost 8kwp, half of them facing S/SE and half N/NW I guess you know though that the grass is always greener on the other side! We may have had a nice ene...
