The Government has launched a consultation on the reform of Consumer protection which should be of interest to many here.  I haven't read it in depth but the proposals at first read seem pretty significant.

4kW peak of solar PV since 2011; EV and a 1930s house which has been partially renovated to improve its efficiency. 7kW Vaillant heat pump.

And yet again oddly enough strengthening local government, funding it and getting building inspectors back and able to catch the offenders is not on the menu, just makework tickbox compliance, more money to the boys in the compliance department, the "professional" bodies and the usual suspects.
