i have been disussing the Sunsynk inverter on a different thread, which is taking it off topic, so have decided to post as a separate thread

thanks to @ChickenBig

who has pointed out that several 5kw and 8kw Sunsynk inverters are UK compliant. There are lots of Youtube videos with lots of support on the interweb and it looks like a decent make of inverter.

Does anyone have any reviews of the Sunsynk inverter please and a reliable source to purchase from?

CEF have already been suggested ..

For me the key problem is not one of buying the inverter but one of finding someone appropriately qualified to (correctly) install it. There is a big shortage of qualified people willing to work on smaller projects, even more so at reasonable rates! Last year I got a laborious only quote of 944 + VAT per day for a pair of electricians (electrician and mate, I guess), 400 + VAT for dealing with the DNO; I did not go with that offer.

Thankfully I have an electrician who deals with all our rental properties, who installed the current Sofar inverter.
