So if I want to gain the minimum level of qualifications to install a battery and inverter in my house, what would the path be? Is that even feasible for someone who isn't actually working as a tradesperson? (Pretend I don't care how much it would cost, I just want to know the pathway.)


ASHP: Mitsubishi Ecodan 8.5kW
PV: 5.2kWp
Battery: 8.2kWh

Would the battery and inverter be connected to the grid or standalone?

 


105 m2 bungalow in South East England
Mitsubishi Ecodan 8.5 kW air source heat pump
18 x 360W solar panels
1 x 6 kW GroWatt battery and SPH5000 inverter
1 x Myenergi Zappi
1 x VW ID3
Raised beds for home-grown veg and chickens for eggs

Grid, but would standalone be much simpler?
