Radiator and heating control reviews needed
We are looking for members that are interested in reviewing their radiators and/or heating controls as part of their heating system.
These reviews will be published on the main site and will help other homeowners determine whether the products you've reviewed are good, average or not so great.
Radiators
I have provided a Stelrad review of rads that we wrote to give you an idea of how to structure your review. We will edit everything before it goes and we just need your thoughts, along with a supporting image: https://renewableheatinghub.co.uk/stelrad-compact-k3-radiators
Heating Controllers
This is a really fun review section and anything that controls your heating can be in here from thermostats, TRVs, (smart or not so smart), etc.
Again, for guidance and inspiration, here's a review we did of the Eve smart TRVs: https://renewableheatinghub.co.uk/eve-thermo-smart-trvs
Please email me your reviews: editor@renewableheatinghub.co.uk

Happy to prepare some words on the HIVE smart TRVs @editor. Spoiler alert - it won't be particularly complimentary. I've been less than impressed with them. In hindsight, and knowing what I now know about the most efficient way to run a hydronic heating circuit with conventional emitters and ASHP source, I would not have fitted them at all. They came as an installer recommendation, as did the HIVE room thermostat, which is now nothing more than a colourful remote control on/off switch 🙂
@allyfish, looking forward to it. Please send to editor@renewableheatinghub.co.uk when you’re ready.
