Samsung Gen 7 R290 Heat Pump: Hot Water Use Seems Very Low - Is That Normal?
I have had a Samsung Mono 5kW R290 Gen 7 heat pump installed for my 2 bed 1930s terrace - I'm actually looking for a bit of advice? Over the summer in June it used 10.3Kw total and July 2.2Kw total for each month according to the app. It seemed very low? Does that figure sound correct as it would have been just for hot water. We are a family of 4 but kids are young - I was wondering if it may have been using the immersion instead for some of the time as i didn't see any legionaries cycles or defrost things?? I'm just keen to compare to the old gas boiler. If it is that low then i am obviously very impressed.
Then another question i have is that i had had it set to colder in the day and then 17C over night - but when it started getting colder it wouldn't come on in the evening - i then set to 20C all day and it was a bit too hot - then changed to 19C all day and i find it always takes it upon itself to change to 23C! ?? If i change this manually on the controller in the house it seems to change but it seems to ignore the phone schedule a bit.. I have to manually lower to 21C every morning - if i remember. What may be causing that?
Any advice welcome thanks!
