Currently trying to connect my Samsung MIM-B19N board to wifi kit 2.0 MIM-H04EN which is on fibre 150 mbps.. It asks for a Samsung Heatpump modem on the SmartApp and comes up with Samsung EHS E50AJTAE0 or Samsung EHS E50AJTA1 etc.

So I  add AIRCONDITIONER/HEAT PUMP , no aircon by the way , thats the nearest similarity. I add without QR code because it has no code, the app eventually finds the above heat pump numbers.

This should be found on the wifi list as from a connection on the Samsung smart app but cannot find it

It will not appear on my phone settings and times out.

It also gives a password to enter .

Failing that I tried looking  the other suggested device  either Heat pump or Multi WIFI KIT, click on wifi kit and press AP on the Samsung wifi kit and the connection comes up with {system a/c} or {systema/c}E3 to find on phones wifi list . This gives me system a/c E30AJT02031033 Click on that and starts a connection to device (presumably wifikit) , I eventually find the wifi kit and use the password given trys finding device and times out with error.

Is the whole connection issue come about when it doesnt find the Heat pump in the first phase perhaps?

Question being is my kit it the loft too far from the router , the loft being vitually above router.

I hope this makes sense!

I hope someone has done this , I am dealing with a Gen5 and according to Samsung this modem is compatible, problem being is the first EHS E5 not showing on wifi list.

Ultimately installing Havenwise.

Hope someone can help.

@alfapat are you able to tell us what the issue was and how you sorted it, please? Interested to know in case I ever add WiFi.

Samsung 12kW gen6 ASHP with 50L volumiser and all new large radiators. 7.2kWp solar (south facing), Tesla PW3 (13.5kW)
Solar generation completely offsets ASHP usage annually. We no longer burn ~1600L of kerosene annually.

Ill try and keep it short!

Recently installed Fibre been waiting years . It hasn't been too good until last Saturday, only a week in!

Given that we installed it correctly it would pick up the Heat pump on wifi to IPhone. It recognised the pump from the Smart app ,( which is linked having installed the Modem in the pump) to the Samsung wifi Kit  .

So given it would not show on the iphone wifi setting list I contacted Samsung Tech.

They eventually sent me a guide to to connect and register the devices.

Reading through it , it missed out any link from the heat pump and going by the menu in the Smarthings app hit the wifi kit instead. It comes up with a/c system which prompts you to go to wifi setting in your iphone and find it , as we did before and could not connect on SATURDAY past. Enter password given and hey presto it registered both pump and Wifi kit.

Subsequently filled in details on Havenwise with a good communication as to how to do things,  if there was anything to know.

Basically it was not clear which device it wanted to register as I was installing a modem in the heat pump when most upto date pumps or devices  probably have them installed from new.

Internet needs to be sound as well and new fibre being installed and being in the coutryside has its draw backs !

Hope thats clear.

Thanks, how hard was it wiring up? I have a gen6, and the MIM-H04EN seems to only mention air con? Or does Samsung use the same controller for ashp and air con units?

Wi-Fi kit covers any Samsung device that has a modem in it . The gen five can be utilised by that mom B19N board . I believe any PTO date heat pump has the WiFi capability already installed . Easy enough with instructions enclosed.
