SSE have blamed covid for the delay. They are aware we are waiting and hope to have someone come out to look "soon"
That's all I have!!
@batalto, that's very frustrating and Covid is beginning to wear a bit thin as an excuse. Western Power Distribution did ours all online in February, no visit required, in about 10 days.
I think you can get your GHG voucher extended if you ask.
@batalto, I have to say that the Covid excuse is wearing a bit thin, so I empathise. Hopefully it'll approved soon. Just hang in there.

They are coming tomorrow to do the load check - 6/7 weeks after the application. Once its done I can finally move forward
Finally got approval back from SSE - install should be in a couple of weeks. Just waiting on confirmed dates
Dates for install confirmed for the 29th and 30th of June
@batalto, that's exciting. Keep us posted.

Install is underway. Pump arrived fine, however they sent a hot water tank too wide to fit into the loft. Tank says 510mm on the box, but its 560mm when measured...
Hopefully be able to swap it easily - lets see.
@batalto, good luck. I hope it all goes ahead without any issues.

Good luck @batatlo. I’m sure all will go well. I had the opposite problem - they sent a slimmer, but taller tank. Ended up fitting fine. Luckily. As the original wider one would not have fitted 😳
Did you go with a Mixergy tank or one by the ASHP manufacturer?
Daikin Altherma 3H HT 12kWh ASHP with Mixergy h/w cylinder; 4kW solar PV with Solic 200 electric diverter; Honda e and new Hyundai Ioniq 5 N electric vehicles with Myenergi Zappi mk1 charger
