@morgan It may be eaier if you resd the manual section on adjusting the compensation curve. From memory, I cannot remember how to do it. I deal with too mamy manufaturers units to remember all.

Thanks Brendon. Really appreciate the support here. I’ll get there……. eventually.

@morgan It is a pleasure, every person I help, regains faith in heat pumps, they tell others and I will benifit at some stage. As they say, what goes arround comes arround. I do a lot of this for little or no direct benifit.

Right, it's done. I went a bit lower than I was going to.
45C water flow temp. @ -3C outside air temperature.
20C water flow temp. @ 18C outside air temperature.
Both thermostats on manual and set to 30C.
The ASHP has fired up so let's see what happens. I have about 6 weeks data with it running as-was so will have plenty to compare.
@kev-m Great, it may take a few days to get your internal temperature right, it will react very slowly.

@kev-m maybe you want to set your thermostats to 22°. That way you won't suddenly wake up sweating and you'll be able to see what conditions your heating is working in. I was thinking of doing what you're doing, but our heating barely comes on at the moment in the day as the room is 21 or above. No don't really want to set it up 30 and swealter

A wise move Batalto.
Now that many of you have switched to weather compensation. Well done.
It will be interesting to see how the weather compensation systems supplied by the different manufacturers perform, and how they cope with variations in heat demand caused by solar gain, wind chill and the effects of rain.
