Have you heard of an event that you think other members on Renewable Heating Hub would enjoy? Whether it’s heat pumps, renewables, energy-related exhibitions or sustainability talks, feel free to share them here! This thread is all about keeping everyone informed on what’s happening so we can make the most of our time and opportunities.

To kick things off, here are two free upcoming energy exhibitions in Devon:

Okehampton Energy Fest: 26th October at Charter Hall, 10:00-15:00

Tamar Energy Fest: 9th November at Butchers’ Hall, Tavistock, 10:00-15:00

Feel free to post any events you come across or are hosting!

For anyone interested in levelling up their understanding of hydronics this might be one to put in the diary.

ESBE are teaming up with Mario Dodić (@mario-dodic) from HVAC Education Hub for a free webinar on the essentials of hydronic design where he'll be joined by Nigel Raper, Technical Manager at ESBE UK.

They’ll be covering practical topics like:

  • Heat and temperature fundamentals
  • ΔT, capacity and flow rate
  • Components of heat pump systems
  • Diverting and mixing valves
  • Valve sizing

Date: 27 November

Time: 2–3pm (GMT)

Free to attend. Register here: https://esbe.eu/group/news/webinar-esbe-teams-up-with-mario-dodi%C4%87

A good opportunity for installers, engineers and anyone who wants to deepen their grasp of the hydronic side of heat pump systems.
