Hello everyone,

Great to be a part of the Renewable Heating Hub and looking forward to sharing my limited experience with renewable heating and hopefully to gain advice on how to improve or extend my system.

I live in central Scotland and had my system installed in September 2023.

I have a hybrid system consisting of 8.5Kw solar, 5Kw GivEnergy inverter with 9.5Kw GivEnergy battery and 14Kw Ecodan R32 mitsubishi heat pump.

Three years to make your first post, @weemalkie… that’s got to be a record! 😂

Great setup and a great location to hear from. Scotland puts heat pumps through their paces in a way the south of England simply doesn’t, so your experience will be valuable. Looking forward to hearing more.
