Name and shame heat pump installers that have done shoddy work
If you've had an unacceptable or poorly installed heat pump this is the forum to name and shame those installers. Too many homeowners are reluctant to name installers that have done shoddy work and who do not want to rectify their poor quality, third-rate work, but it's essential we start weeding out the poor ones.Â

Heat pump builder
Here goes, Greenfoot Heating Solutions (Sawbridgeworth) - can't make MMSP work, Vaillant pump fitted incorrectly, carpet ruined, now comms have ceased.  MCS case and court case to follow.
@witchcraft, how have you found the process with MCS? Have they been helpful in guiding you through the process? Intrigued about the potential court case. I assume that mediation is not goin well.Â

@editor MCS, complaint needs to go in again, their website just froze after I pressed "submit" earlier. Â Mediation, No idea, the installer has gone quiet on me hence the small claims court
Â
@witchcraft, how annoying about the site freezing. Please keep updating us, as I’m very curious to see how this all plays out, especially with MCS.

@editor MCS Finally got a MCS form submitted and sent in the forms for the county court
@witchcraft, well done. I look forward to seeing how long it takes to get a MCS response.

MCS promised a response in two working days on the 22nd, as yet I have heard nothing. Â Not a good start.
Â
@witchcraft, thanks for the update and I'm very interested to see how this all plays out.

@editor Well I have received a contact from the MCS people (after I emailed them to chase). Â
Sadly the complaint form still doesn't work (I have a fully up to date and standard Mac so surely it should work?!). I'm awaiting their reply as to how I can raise a complaint with them.
While I am happy with the heat pump itself I'm beginning to utterly despair of my ruddy installer and pretty much everything else in the arena.
