I had a Grant 6kW HPID6R32 ASHP installed in mid December in my 2 bed (71 m2) mid terraced, solid wall and loft insulated (3.5kW heat loss estimate) house in central Scotland. Overall it has kept me warm during the couple of weeks of cold weather and apart from odd day or two with very high energy use (around 20-35 kWh when min temps were -7 or -8 and barely reaching 0C during day) seems not horrendous but I have a few queries on how to optimise and also find information on the system:

Heat curve and weather compensation

I managed to find the heat curve in the installation controller and reduced the curve to 1.0 from 1.2

heat curve 160126
I have also noticed that the weather compensation is off under the service parameters. When I change it to ON it just flicks back off.

However in the other service parameters menu there is a WEATHER enabled under installation controller and the "C1 - calculated set temp" does vary with the outside temperature e.g., only 33.2 C today at 9.5c outside compared to over 40C when it was much colder last week.

I have the day mode set at 18.5C and night set back at 17C (21:00-05:00). It does seem to be operating like my gas boiler did (I had it on constant 18C all day), on until hits the temp then off until drop below the day (see outlet temperature graph below) - hysteresis value (0.4C) rather than steady so I am keen to get to the low and steady but should I drop the heat curve or the shift when attempting that?

Finding energy use figures
I am likely being dim but I cannot find the energy consumption information or COP in the ecoNET app or on the Grant Aerona Smart Controller. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Below is my Octopus energy use (non-heating is usually 3-6 kWh per day)

Hot water
The hot water seems to be particularly high energy (using my solar panel/battery EcoFlow consumption app) so have been testing using immersion for short periods and also dropped the temp to 43C from 45C. The listeria cycle is only getting to just over 50C so think will need to use immersion to get to 60.

Noise
I can hear the humming, rather than fan noise, inside and also from further distance than Grant videos suggest. However, I do have quite acute hearing and could be the lack of steady operation increasing the noise (and it being baltic for a lot of the last month!). Being in a terrace I am particularly concerned about any chance of disturbing neighbours (on one side they are too nice to saying if they were being disturbed).

Any pointers from other Grant ASHP owners, or anyone else, are very much welcome. My installers have apologised for slow responses as they operate in the Highlands and Islands and got badly hampered by snow.

Thanks!
