We sat down with Simon Smith from SA Energy and he explained to us how solar PV arrays and home storage batteries work, and what happens in the event of a power outage. Will your solar panels continue to power your home? Will the solar PV charge your batteries? Will your air source heat pump still work? Where's the best place to install your batteries? All this answered and much, much more. 

We're hoping to do a follow up interview with Simon at some stage so if you have any questions, pop them below and we'll add them to them to list.
