I've been using the brilliant Watson AI to understand my ASHP. It was available from an icon in the bottom right of my screen, but it's no longer there and I can't find it anywhere on the site. Clues please!

Personally, I'm pleased it's gone and hopefully for good. AI is a tool of the devil, and info should come from individual personal experience and knowledge via an actual person.  I also find its mere presence intrusive and annoying.  Each to their own, but I would be more than happy if it were gone forever.

@Morgan, Wattson is not gone... he's just been moved to the homepage for now because the positioning was frustrating some users on the forums. I'll get it sorted it out in due course and he will be back on the forums when we've figured out how to make him more discrete for users. I am continuing to train him with top heat pump info.

@editor got, thanks so much. I think we all know to be careful of AI results, but I'm finding it really useful as a first step for a layman

@pipcart, agreed. What makes Wattson different is it can only use our resources it's been trained on to answer questions, so it can't make stuff like ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. As you said, it's a solid starting point for lay people to get correct answers to 'basic' things.

@morgan Likewise, I realise that some readers will appreciate Wattson and as long as the answers are treated with scepticism or at least caution, that will be fine. However, I am one of those readers who bemoaned the ever present icons and the over sensitive pane (pain?) that always appeared on half of my magnified image thus making the system irksome to use. I realise that with my sight impairment, I am not Mr. Average reader but I pestered Mars to remove or at least reduce the ever present presence of Wattson for my sanity’s sake. Each to his own, Regards and Apologies, Toodles.
