@robl thanks for that. Now I have to research reading Modbus in home assistant - HA does all my logging and reporting in the one place.

@steevjo Like you I don't need to know the full details of output etc.  I know it works as the house is warm.  I do however need to get a grip on it's consumption because our bills are inordinately high and becoming unsustainable.  To this end I intend to enlist the services of @heacool to cast his expertise over my install.  He isn't going to be cheap but neither are my electricity bills.  The ASHP seems to be consuming way more than a lot on here.

I would need an electrician to install that device as I won't go near electricity but it looks like a good option.  Octopus Energy are hopefully attending here on Tuesday to see if we can have a smart meter.
