PUHZ SW120Y & EHSC-VM2D - Buffer tank to Volumiser
Eventually I was able to find someone here in the Algarve to, amongst other things, convert my buffer tank to a volumiser and in the process remove the secondary pump. They failed on the Wireless Controller and the support from Mitsubishi Portugal throughout, was utterly deplorable.
I picked up from somewhere that a dip switch should have been changed when a buffer tank is not used and in lieu of assistance from Mitsu Portugal I put this question to Mitsu UK:
"I thought I recalled that a dip switch change was required, but the contractor had no knowledge of this.
I have studied the manual and see that SW 2-6 is for On/Off “Mixing Tank”."
The reply was:
"If you are a homeowner we cant advise on electrical or dip switch issues and this would require a callout to investigate"
So, with the heating season imminent, I am stuck.
Is anyone able/ willing to confirm the facts re this switch selection?
