Hi, my neighbour has had E4 communication errors for 3 mornings running and resets it. He has a 10 + year old 14 kW Ecodan with the FTC2 box. He turns his thermostats down every night from 19C to 16C and back up in the morning and asks if that could cause the problem. I didn't think so although I don't think it's a good idea especially in the recent freezing conditions when the HP is often iced up. I suggested a wiring problem like a dodgy outside power isolator or an electronic problem.Does anyone have any other ideas please?
