@rikiarn - just have a think as to how much it will cost you to keep that gas fire available as a backup heat source.

We don't know whether you use gas or electricity for cooking,
but the ongoing Daily Standing Charge is likely to take up a sizeable chunk of your annual gas bill once your heat-pump is operational!


Save energy... recycle electrons!
