@clairelp well that's a full house for me, after everyone here mentioned pipework clipping , fan noise, pumps, auto air vents. Need to listen to experts that install this stuff every day. Glad it's sorted for now.
Nope no luck.we tried setting back again and the defrost cycles came on woke us up. It even was vibrating our bed. I had noticed it doing this before and my husband I didn’t think he believed me till last night.
i will call them back again, as it’s definitely not normal to be vibrating furniture.
I might see if they can turn the buffer off, as this is what is causing the loud unusable noise not the ashp. During the night when it’s doing its anti pipe freeze cycle it uses the vessel and that’s when it’s vibrates the furniture.
To add insult to we also have a pipe come though our ceiling. They said it’s where during install they had leak made ceiling wet and the must have pushed it through. So we now currently have a hole on ceiling playroom. 😩
I also did ask about the anti vibration clips and they said they don’t use them.
@clairelp I did think the solution sounded hopeful, and am disappointed to hear it didn't work. Please keep us updated.

@editor Yes indeed! A great shame as it sounded so hopeful; so I take it the system will be being turned off at night for a few more days. 😒 Hope your installers return soon and find the culprit. Regards, Toodles.
Toodles, heats his home with cold draughts and cooks food with magnets.
The pipe on that bar looks the prime suspect for a noise issue, should be able to lift slightly to get some insulation in-between pipe and metal bar.
The other part is the auto air vent, just undo the little black (assuming it's closed)
Not sure if this is something @louise-howlett can potentially assist with?

@editor Thanks for the enquiry I'll get my technical buddies to take a look at the photos on this thread. There can be several causes of noise and vibration. We do cover the Bury St Edmunds area.
