Hi all, I’m doing some research for a platform called Snugg. We’re after UK homeowners who’d be up for a quick chat about home upgrades like solar panels, EV chargers, home batteries or heat pumps, and to test some product concepts. 
 
This isn’t a sales pitch — we just want to understand how people decide what to do (or not do) when it comes to these types of changes. 
You can: 
  • Sign up for a 30 min video call/product test and get a £20 shopping voucher as a thank you 
  • Or fill in a short 10 min survey (no payment, but it really helps us out) 

We’re keen to hear from people whether you’ve already made upgrades or are only just thinking about it.

I have signed up as well.  @belsnugg could you outline what you are aiming to do/achieve.  I've read a bit about some of your projects, interested to hear what this is about.

 

Also I personally suggest you repost the original request from time to time in the thread as the early posts can get 'lost' in people's minds 


4kW peak of solar PV since 2011; EV and a 1930s house which has been partially renovated to improve its efficiency. 7kW Vaillant heat pump.

Just done your survey!


2kW + Growatt & 4kW +Sunnyboy PV on south-facing roof Solar thermal. 9.5kWh Givenergy battery with AC3. MVHR. Vaillant 7kW ASHP (very pleased with SCOP 4.7) open system operating on WC
