Do I add Air Con or MVHR to existing A2W ASHP?
@rob-of-york Thank you, I’m thinking along these same lines - and we do have some floor standing fans for the task! Regards, Toodles.

Samgsung Quint is an A2W heat pump that also does A2A in a single outdoor unit. It can provide hot water heating, space heating via hot water to radiators etc., and also refrigerant lines to do both heating and cooling via indoor AC units (fancoils). When cooling it can also recover the heat into the air-to-water side to heat the hot water. Finally, it can do cooling in one zone and heating in another.

At present I don't think it has been classified under the BUS grant. Is it A2W (£7500) or A2A (£2500) under the grant, hopefully the former. One drawback is that the sizes are large 12.5kW or 16kW.
It's a great idea to do a combined system like this. When I eventually replace my existing gas boiler and A2A that's the sort of thing that I want.
@editor Did you decide on a new heat pump, perhaps you could lead the way with one of these?
@rob-of-york Looks like an impressive bit of kit. Just wondering how good their smartthings app is at handling all those different modes of operation..
