@derek-m that's true, but you no matter the battery size you will be limited to 3kw of power at peak - 16amp in EPS mode.

The goodwe inverter also has an EPS switch, but the battery discharge is 5kw Vs 3kw. Therefore I would personally explore a different brand, get more power and more battery capacity for less money.

As I keep saying, all these batteries are the same inside - you are paying for the name/branding.

I'm no sparky but I'd have thought 16A would be sufficient to cover the inrush current for a well pump, that 3500W isn't it?

Hi Ken,

If it is just important to run your well pump, you may wish to have a look at the equipment available at the UPS Centre.

@kev-m Inverter is an inverter - so pop it on the wall. The batteries are 440 x 750 x 270 and you've probably stack two on top of each other or place them facing upwards.

You obviously need the batteries next to the inverter - so you'd need a cupboard sized space and you'd put the batteries on the floor.

This is my battery setup - I've since tidied up those earth leads

Would be a garage job for me, lots of space there and dry.  Thanks.
