Just so others know, I frequently use links back to this Forum when I communicate with relevant Government Depts, MPs, Councillors etc.
The topics here are positive, and looking for solutions to problems...
... many of which are problems that Government would also like to fix.

Quick update on the server and hosting situation: we’re aiming to finalise a new hosting contract this week with a provider that has UK-based data centres and a high-spec server, which should be extremely fast. During the migration process, the site may be unavailable for a few days.

If things align today, we might start migrating data to the new server. The site will go under construction when we do, and the site might also appear offline for a few hours (or even days). Thanks for your patience.

Good luck
I migrated our website twice in my previous job, it terrified me, although in reality wasn't actually that difficult.
4kW peak of solar PV since 2011; EV and a 1930s house which has been partially renovated to improve its efficiency. 7kW Vaillant heat pump.
@jamespa 🤣 It's a massive undertaking because of he sheer size of the site... I'm just getting to temporarily put the site to sleep and let the migration begin. Hopefully we won't be down too long!

And we're back online. We've have successfully moved the site and it's up and running. It was a massive task, so thanks for your patience everyone and hopefully, we won't have to this again for a few years.
While we've tried to iron out everything, these may still some be some glitches, so please bear with us as we try and fix those on the fly.

@sussex-greenish thank you.
As a general and quick note, depending on your browser and cookie/cache settings, you might notice a few odd things as everything settles into place. For the most part, though, the site is now fully operational. If anyone spots anything unusual, please let me know!

You might have noticed a kWh number near your forum title. This number grows based on your activity across the forums and website. Every time you read a post, reply, engage with a topic or even just sign in daily, you’re racking up points.
But here’s where it gets even more exciting… this summer, we’ll be launching new initiatives that let you put your kWh points to good use.
More details on how to spend your points are coming soon… so stay tuned, keep engaging and keep earning!
