Just a thought, but if anyone fancies jumping onto a Jitsi video/voice chat at the end of this week, to talk all things renewable heating, after what will have been a rather cold fortnight, then might I suggest the following channel/room:

No password is required, the first to enter the room creates the room. I will try and pop along at 7:30pm on Sunday, unless anyone has a better time?

If this is a terrible idea then no harm lost, the room simply won't exist.

Off grid on the isle of purbeck
2.4kW solar, 15kWh Seplos Mason, Outback power systems 3kW inverter/charger, solid fuel heating with air/air for shoulder months, 10 acres of heathland/woods.

My wife’s house: 1946 3 bed end of terrace in Somerset, ASHP with rads + UFH, triple glazed, retrofit IWI in troublesome rooms, small rear extension.

If anyone else fancies chatting about DIY off grid battery storage then I'm up for that discussion too, having lived with Outback Power equipment for the last 15yrs...

I'll try and hang out in that room, pending any domestic crisis that keeps me away from the computer.
