Help Me Showcase Real UK Heat Pump Installations - Please Send Me Your Videos & Photos
One of the things I’m keen to start doing more of on the YouTube channel is showing real-world heat pump installations in UK homes... not manufacturer footage or generic B-roll, but the kind of systems homeowners actually live with every day.
To do that, I’d love some help from forum members.
If you’re happy to share photos or short video clips of your heat pump installation, I may use them as B-roll in future videos to help illustrate how systems are installed across the UK.
If you’d like to contribute, please send files via WeTransfer to: editor@renewableheatinghub.co.uk
A few quick pointers if you’re filming clips:
- 10–15 seconds per clip works well, but if you want to send me a video that's a couple of minutes long, that's fine too.
- Try to keep the camera steady (avoid fast pans or shaking)
- Landscape / horizontal orientation ideally - if you only have portrait footage, that's fine, I can use that too.
- Film from different angles if possible to show the outdoor unit in its setting. The more variety the better
Also, if anyone has clips of their heat pump operating in interesting conditions (for example defrost cycles, frost build-up, snow, heavy rain, cold weather operation, etc.) those would be especially useful.
By default I won’t credit individual installations or locations, but if you would like your system credited to give it some YouTube fame, just mention that when you send the files and tell me how you’d like it referenced.
This is a good chance to help show the reality of heat pump installs in British homes!
Thanks in advance.
